Local Ministries

Peter's Flock

This mission focuses on two or three families within the community. Staple items are provided monthly.  Through this ministry, we are building a relationship with the family and may also guide them toward help in job searches, budgeting and other needs.  We provide physical and spiritual nourishment as well. Usually no money is involved with this ministry. You may get involved with this ministry by donating the food items needed on the list available in the office or help with delivering the food.

Good Samaritan

This mission is involved with church families and some people from the community on a one-time basis.  Part of the Good Samaritan budget is also donated to MUST.  When you give to the church, part of your money supports all of our missions as well as Good Samaritan.

MUST Ministries

MUST is Ministries United in Service and Training. They not only provide shelter and food for the homeless but training in budgeting and other life skills.  They also have an excellent medical clinic. There are many opportunities to serve at MUST.  A group presently helped clean out apartments at Shepherds Walk which is part of MUSTs transitional housing. During the summer, our mens and womens groups have provided lunches for MUST summer lunch program which feeds children who would not have anything to eat during the day. We also collect special items throughout the year as they are needed.
