Shop Before the Public

Work 3 or more hours* or sell 40+ items, to attend our preview sale Thursday night. Children under 10 are NOT allowed at preview sale. Nursery is provided on a first come, first serve basis for $5 per child.

* if you attend the preview sale, but do not work 3 hours, $25 will be deducted from your check. In case of emergency, you may have a substitute work for you.

Please arrive 10 minutes early for your shift.

To Sell – IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Because of the time required to test items for lead, we are asking that you group
your clothes with all items with ziipers together; all items with buttons
together.

You are WELCOME at your drop off time to check in and leave your items.
You MUST then come back and pick up any rejected items at a later time before
the sale starts. You are also welcome to wait.

Please check your calendars carefully. We have a waiting list and no shows are not permitted to register for the following sale. Drop off times are scheduled in 15 minute intervals:

Monday   5:00 – 6:45 PM
Tuesday 9:00 – 1:45 PM 5:00 – 7:45 PM
Wednesday 9:00 – 1:45 AM 5:00 – 7:45 PM

Preparing for the Sale

  • Place clothes on left facing WIRE hangers. WE WILL NOT TAKE CLOTHES IF THEY ARE NOT ON WIRE HANGERS.
  • Secure pants & accessories to the hanger with safety pins.
  • Pin tag to right side of item with a safety pin.
  • Secure shoes together and secure one tag to shoes. No shoe boxes
  • Prepare a self-addressed stamped envelope to bring for payment to be mailed to you.
  • Tags must be in our format!!! Use half of a white 3×5 index card OR use the MS Word form to print tags on cardstock (not paper). Seller # in upper left corner. Add a lower case “d” beside seller # to donate unsold items. – Clip right corner if it is NOT 1/2 price on Saturday. – Describe item in center to prevent tag switching. – Size under description. – Price under size. – Draw a thick line in your color across the bottom. (Seller #350 Brown would draw a brown line .)

What We Will Sell

  • Spring & Summer clothing: sizes infant–16
  • Junior & Maternity in GREAT CONDITION.
  • Complete games & puzzles. Write – ALL PIECES HERE on the tag. Include batteries if needed.
  • Toys, books
  • CDs and DVDs
  • Bikes in good condition
  • Electronics with batteries.
  • Baby equipment and children’s furniture.
    Commerically manufactured furniture and bedding ONLY.
  • Gently worn shoes (LIMIT 10)

We Will Not Sell

  • Items containing lead and/or recalled items.
  • THESE ITEMS ARE NEWLY BANNED FROM OUR SALE:
    • Stuffed animals
    • Touch and Feel Books
    • Handmade/homemade furniture (commerically manufactured bedding ONLY)
    • Megablocks(excluding bikes, tricycles)
    • Grab bags/miscellaneous bags (same toy items per multi-item bags)
    • Handmade bedding, decorations, art
  • Stained items or items missing buttons or with broken zippers.
  • Clothing that smells like smoke or mold.
  • Car seats, mattresses or used underwear.
  • R-rated videos.
  • VHS tapes
  • Toys missing pieces, incomplete games & puzzles.

We cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen items.

Drop Off

Bring items to the Keheley Center Atrium at your scheduled time. We cannot
reschedule your time if you are late. Check in & fill out seller envelope. Leave
a self-addressed stamped envelope. Wait as your tags and items are examined.

Pick up your unsold items between
3:30 PM and 4:30 PM on Saturday

ANYTHING LEFT AT 5 PM WILL BE DONATED TO CHARITY.

Payment

Checks will be mailed about 2 weeks after sale. Please do not call, as it only slows the process. Sell with us and receive 70% of the sales price! Your 30% tax deduction benefits the Childrens’ Ministries and Preschool at St. Andrew United Methodist Church. Remember that $10 will be deducted from your check help the cost of the lead testing.
