Adult Lenten Study

Made for a Miracle by Mike Slaughter

February 21- March 28 - Wednesday @ 6:30pm

Room 121-124 - Leader: Sue Wallace

Did you know that when we hope for the impossible, it involves more than praying for God’s transcendent power? There are two components to every miracle: divine action and human responsibility. Each of us has been given specific talents and abilities. For a real miracle to take place, God expects us to apply these talents and abilities—acting with God to perform divine work. By examining biblical examples of how to use your God-given gifts for God’s glory, author and pastor Mike Slaughter helps you discover that you, too, were Made for a Miracle.

Take time during this Lenten season to see how God can use you for a Miracle. Please contact the church office to register for this class. 770-926-3488 or

The Free Radicals 10:45 Sunday school class invites any adults not currently attending a class to join us as we begin our next study, Who Is This Man? by John Ortberg.
This study illustrates how Jesus’ influence has swept over history, bringing His inspiration to the evolution of art, science, government, medicine, and education. We will also explore how His vision for us to lead lives of dignity, compassion, forgiveness, and hope continues to inspire and challenge humanity today. We welcome anyone who desires finding answers in the questions raised through lively discussion and Bible study.  Come join us as we seek to draw closer in our relationship to Jesus during this season of Lent. We meet in Room 119 downstairs in Keheley. Our teacher is Don Marshall, with others in the class assisting as needed. Contact Don Marshall or Carol Haisten for more information.

Studies and activities will be available for children and youth also.
