VBS: Celebrate the Savior
Our Vacation Bible School theme for 2025 is “Celebrate the Savior,” exploring how Jesus brings us joy! Children 4 years old (by September) through rising 6th graders are invited to join us for a week of fun. You can register your children or volunteer here and pay here. The $40 registration fee includes snacks, crafts, activities and t-shirt! Registrations received after June 6 will be put on a waitlist.

Haiti School Auction
Join us for lunch and a silent auction to raise money for the Andrew Christian School in Haiti, founded by our congregation in 2005 and now sponsoring over 200 children from ages 3-14.

"Fall into Crafts" Marketplace
The women of St. Andrew invite you to start the craft show season off right at the "Fall Into Crafts" Marketplace. Now in our 23rd year, this show offers a spacious, easily accessible indoor setting where you can comfortably purchase crafts from local makers and/or exhibit your own crafts. Our friendly, helpful volunteers and wonderful food make "Fall Into Crafts" Marketplace a favorite among many of our return crafters and customers.
The marketplace will run:
Friday, October 10, 11 am - 8 pm
Saturday, October 11, 10 am - 4 pm

Knowing Who We Are

Assembling hygiene kits for Trinity Table. The church is providing supplies, but if you would like to contribute more, you can bring disposable razors, wash cloths, bar soap, and deodorant.

Faithful Followers Trip to Calhoun Rock Garden
Faithful Followers, St. Andrew’s 50+ group, are taking a special trip to The Rock Garden in Calhoun, GA. We will gather at the Youth House parking lot on Friday, May 9 at 1o am and eat at Doug’s restaurant in Emerson afterward. Find more info on The Rock Garden here.

Confirmation Sunday
On Sunday, May 4, we will celebrate our youth who have been going through the journey of confirmation, learning and making the Christian faith their own.

Resurrection Biscuits
In between Easter worship services, all are welcome to join in an inter-generational activity making biscuits and interactively learning about the story of Jesus’ resurrection.

Good Friday
Join us for a Tenebrae Service (or “service of shadows”), in which we will journey with Jesus through the whole story of the crucifixion.

Maundy Thursday
Join us for a traditional Holy Week service of Holy Communion, remembering Jesus’ commandment to his friends and followers to love one another.

Palm Sunday
Begin Holy Week together with a children’s parade in worship, celebrating Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem with palm branches.

Church Work Day
Volunteers needed to assist on a variety of both indoor and outdoor projects. Work day will begin immediately following United Methodist Men’s monthly meeting. Feel free to arrive at 9:00 am, enjoy a hardy breakfast and participate in St. Andrew UMM’s monthly meeting. All are welcome!

Church-wide Townhall on St. Andrew’s Facilities
During the Sunday School hour, the trustees and the finance committee will hold a townhall to discuss the state of our facilities and all the ways they benefit our ministries. The town hall will take place in the Keheley at 10am. If you are unable to attend, there will also be brochures summarizing the information presented and ways to submit questions.

Youth Spring Life Retreat
The next youth retreat will be March 14-16. This year is helping students see that God’s Word is living and active, compelling them to connect with God everyday through God’s Word and giving them the skills to do so. Email UMYF@thepumpkinchurch.org for more info.
