Current Opportunities
Back to School at Blackwell
As a new school year begins, we have a wonderful opportunity to bless the staff and students at Blackwell Elementary. Last year, your generosity helped provide classroom supplies for about 40 members of the Blackwell community, including batteries, time clocks, books, and many pencil sharpeners—items teachers often would have purchased with their own money. We also added a prayer request component, giving us another meaningful way to support and encourage the staff.
We invite you to be part of this ministry again this year. Your donation, large or small, will help show the love and care of our church family to the Blackwell community. To give, please write a check to the church and note “Blackwell” on the memo line, donate online to the fund “Missions Special Offerings” with “Blackwell” on the memo line.
Haiti Auction
Our annual fundraiser for the school founded by St. Andrew in Port-Au-Prince Haiti over 20 years ago!
The school currently offers a safe and nurturing environment for almost 200 students ages 3-14.
Donations are now being collected in Room 125 downstairs in the Keheley Center. Items include gift baskets, household & sports items, gift cards, trips, services, etc. and containers for items.
You can also support the fundraiser by eating at Tuscanny on Monday August 10!
Family Promise
In partnership with Family Promise, we are hosting families with children experiencing housing instability as they find a path back to safe, stable housing.
We need volunteers for setup/cleanup, transport, dinner, and hosting for the week of August 30-September 6. You can click here to sign up.
If you are unable to volunteer that week but would like to contribute supplies, you can click here.
