God’s Laws of Love

Love is patient; love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, it is not arrogant.

 1 Corinthians 13:4

Love is not premeditated. It is spontaneous. It bursts up in extraordinary ways. There is nothing of certainty in Paul's category of love. The characteristic of love is spontaneity. We love according to God's standard without knowing it. When we look back we are amazed at the disinterestedness of a particular  emotion which is evident that spontaneity  of real love is there. In everything we do in life of God in us, we do with love.

It is absurd to look for love of God if our hearts are not ready and willing to follow God's laws of love. It is foolish to say I love God yet show dislike for His creation: mankind, earth, climate, oceans, those in need, environment.

We do not need to prove to God we love Him. Our examples of care for all of His creations is our proof. It should come naturally. What God has created we love. God manifests itself in the spontaneous  way because love of God Is our daily actions of love and concern for others and all that God created. Lack of love is false love to God.

Dear Father, we come to you with true love for you and all you created. Help us to support your creations by demonstrating daily care for our whole world. Help us to love and care for all you have created, especially one another. Amen.
